Stained

When we bought this house the former owner left her washer and dryer here. The washer works fine and we thought the dryer did too, until we started getting rust spots on our clothes. The inside of the dryer is full of rust, but we wiped it down with a wet cloth and it didn't leave any stains so we thought we were safe. Well, 2 years later we are left with quite a few rust stained items. Luckily it was always items we didn't care about that got stained up until the other day when one of H's cute little outfits, along with two blankets and a towel got ruined. I'm planning on making (hmm, having them made might be more accurate) quilts out of my favorite baby clothes and give them to my girls when they get older, maybe when they have kids themselves. So if you know of a way to get rid of rust stains please let me know. (And these stains are obviously dried in since the clothes got stained in the dryer.) And even though it wasn't in our budget right now we bought a new dryer today. It just had to be done.
