They found the source of the bleeding in my mom's head yesterday and she had surgery this morning. And when she's stable she will be transported back to the hospital closer to home where she can recover. This is great news.

I must say I am so excited that it is September. Summer is great, but the NY fall is the best. It's still hot and the A/C is on, but soon we will be picking apples, eating cider doughnuts, drinking apple cider, carving pumpkins, wearing hoodies and using the oven again (I can't wait to bake with E). The only thing I'm not really looking forward to is putting the flipflops away and putting on socks.
